The place where we live, near Jaca and Santiago´s Road, is rich in heritage of Romanesque art, especially Romanesque architecture. It is a style of medieval Europe characterized by semi-circular arches. The walls of Romanesque buildings are often of massive thickness with few small openings.

San Juan de la Peña is one of the best representations of Romanesque architecture that we have in Spain.
